Hitachi Cordless Drills
Hitachi Cordless Drills Review - Read This Before You Spend a Dime.
What about the Hitachi cordless drills? Are they worth the money or
not? How do they stack up with Makita and other popular models?
Here is a completely unbiased look at their most popular models to help you decide if they are right for you. 18V Positives Easy to carry Many are surprised that because of its' big size, it's so easy to lug around-but it's not that hard. It actually weights a tad less than the Makita-just 3.3 pounds. Power It has plenty of power despite the light frame-it can go from 0-350 and 1500 RPMs, among the best in the business. Even if you keep it in the lower gear it has plenty of oomph. Durability Basically, it can go all day long-you don't have to worry about it wearing out. Batteries It has 2 lithium-ion batteries-the best kind out there now. Warranty It has a 5 year warranty-this is among the better ones out there, although a bit shorter than the Hitachi. Chuck It keeps the bits in there very well-you don't have to worry about them coming in the middle of a job. Onboard bit holder This is not a huge deal, but it's a nice a feature nonetheless. Thisiswanted Negatives Engine noise While it's a relatively minor issue, the engine can be a bit high string-which gets annoying after awhile VERDICT This is definitely one of the best machines out there-and that
goes for all the Hitachi cordless drills. You really won't get more
bang for your buck elsewhere. |
